Mingara Orchid Fair 2017

We again took part in the Mingara orchid fair this year by putting together a small display. To be completely honest we struggled to find any solid amount of quality plants in flower so in general our quality was below what we would have hoped for. The constant rain and cloud cover of the last few weeks has really taken its toll and in what we are finding an average season this is far from ideal.

However we can only do what we can do, I just thought it would be great to share our current experiences so that anyone else having the same issues this flowering season understands they are not alone.

Moving forward, our display won first place and we won champion any other genera with Zygopetalum Jumping Jack 'Flash!'. Congratulations to all the show winners and to Bruce Wood for winning Grand Champion.
